In 3rd Grade, we were introduced to poetry in school and then had to write a rhyming poem of our own on 'Stars', I think.
So here is my first poem, written in 2008/2009 when I was 8 or 9 years old. I don't intend to be a braggart, but the poem is pretty darn good. Hence, sharing it!

'Twinkling Stars'
Twinkling stars in the night
How I love that they never fight
Made of dust particles, ice and
Do you think they wear a rubber band?
Quite shiny and maybe hot
When we stare at them they might be thinking 'what?'
Stars are beautiful
They are wonderful
Still, I don't understand
Why don't they make me their friend?
