Tennis Lessons

I learnt to tackle my problems head-on, just as I hit the balls.

To face anything in life, just like I face my opponents.

To run ahead and grab opportunities, like running up to the net and finishing the point with a swift volley.

Giving my hundred percent in everything, as I do in hitting an ace.

Adjust in life, just as I adjust with my doubles partner.

Improvise in life, like my strokes during a match.

Being aware of any obstacles in life, just like the net on the court.

To pick up the broken pieces after a failure and continuing, just like collecting the balls after a gruelling day of practice.

That life is to be lived with complete grace, just as a game of tennis is played.

And to love life no matter what, just as I love the game even if I'm stuck at zero.

// I started playing tennis when I was just 5. Though I don' t play it regularly anymore, my love and passion for the game are just as strong as 12 years ago. The game has taught me so much that it would be criminal to not share it.
